Launch Day

Here we are, September 1, 2023 officially launching Gluten and I Don't Mix on it's own.

I can remember the day of my celiac diagnosis clearly. It was extremely depressing for me. October 7, 2010. I had an 8 month old baby and the next month, I was pregnant with my second. It was rough for a while there, and I still have days every now and then that I wish I didn't have to deal with eating gluten free. But through it all, my hubby, Mathew has been supportive of me.❤️

I remember when Mathew created the mixtape design. I thought(and still do) that it was incredibly clever!

It's one of those things that had been on the backburner up until a few years ago when we decided to start up another project in 2020 called @ToftheMonth. Every month we feature a fun shirt. It has allowed us to have a creative outlet with our main Sign Brokerage company that we have been running the past 14 years(holy cow! It's been a long time)!

As we dabbled, we decided to take a risk, and make Gluten and I Don't Mix a reality! Along with other Gluten Free designs, we joined the Gluten Free Expo. The gals who run the expo, Jamie and Elisa, were amazing supports and we had a successful first run.

We did the expo again the next year, and can I tell you how amazing it is to connect with people!?! We had new designs, and what topped the cake, were all the people who remembered us from the previous year, and who were looking forward to what we had to bring again.

This past year, Alisha from Ambrosial Bakery has been so supportive and has allowed us to sell our T's in her shop of delicious Gluten Free goodies. It has gone really well, which brings us to today and our decision to move forward.
